Rio Suno Antwren, Myrmotherula sunensis, is a passerine of the antbird family in western Amazonia, where it occurs in South America. It was described by Chapman in 1925. This is a small bird with a short tail, and it is found locally in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. It lives in the understorey and middle levels of evergreen and mature secondary forest, especially where vegetation is thick and tangled, including Heliconia. It is mainly recorded in lowlands and foothills, and is usually a resident throughout its range.
