Riparian Antbird, Cercomacroides fuscicauda, is a passerine of the antbird family that breeds in southern Colombia, eastern Ecuador, eastern Peru, northern Bolivia and south-western Amazonian Brazil. It is closely tied to riverside várzea forest and thickets on river islands, and in south-eastern Peru it also uses bamboo stands. The species was first described by Zimmer in 1931. It is a monotypic bird, and its range lies mainly in lowland areas, with records from 100 to 600 m, below 500 m in Ecuador, and locally up to 850 m elsewhere.
