Riverbank Warbler Myiothlypis rivularis is a passerine warbler of the Parulidae family that breeds in northern, south-eastern and south-central South America. It is a bird of rainforest beside streams, rivers and swamps, and it is especially tied to watercourses. The species has a broken range, with populations in south-eastern Brazil, eastern Paraguay and north-eastern Argentina, as well as in Bolivia and parts of northern South America. It was first described in 1821. The sexes look alike, and the nominate form is one of three recognised subspecies.
