Prunella rubeculoides (Moore, F, 1854)

Robin Accentor, Prunella rubeculoides, is a passerine of the Himalayas in the Oriental Region, breeding in mountainous country across Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bhutan and China. It belongs to the Prunellidae, the accentors. The bird is mainly associated with high ground, usually above the tree-line and below the snowline, and is often encountered on the ground in grassland or scrub, especially in gullies with streams. It was first described by Moore in 1854. Its plumage is marked by a grey head and neck, brown upperparts, and a reddish-orange throat, with a pale buff belly and white-tipped wing coverts.
