The Roraiman Tyrannulet (Phylloscartes roquettei) is a small, insectivorous bird found in the montane forests of the Guiana Shield in South America. It is characterized by its olive-green upperparts, yellowish underparts, and a distinctive white eyering. This species is known for its active foraging behavior, often seen in the midstory and canopy of the forest, where it hunts for small insects and invertebrates. The Roraiman Tyrannulet is closely associated with mossy and epiphyte-laden environments, and it is often observed in mixed-species flocks. Despite its restricted range, the population trend of this species is currently unknown, and it is classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
