Roraiman Warbler

Myiothlypis roraimae

The Roraiman Warbler (Myiothlypis roraimae) is a small passerine bird found in the tepui regions of South America, particularly in Guyana and Venezuela. It is known for its distinctive olive-green plumage with a yellow throat and chest. This species is often found in dense undergrowth and shrubby areas, foraging for insects and small invertebrates. The Roraiman Warbler is well-adapted to its montane habitat, displaying agile and acrobatic movements as it navigates through the vegetation. While not much is known about its population status, it is believed to be relatively stable within its limited range.
