Rose-collared Piha, Lipaugus streptophorus, is a bird of the tepuis of South America, where it occurs in Brazil, Guyana and Venezuela. It belongs to the Cotingidae family and was first described by Salvin and Godman in 1884. It is a resident of humid montane forest, both within the interior and along the margins, at 1,000 to 1,800 m. Males have a broad pinkish magenta collar, while females lack this feature and have cinnamon-rufous undertail coverts.
