Rose-faced Parrot, Pyrilia pulchra, is a bird of western Colombia and north-west Ecuador in the Psittacidae family. It occurs from the Chocó Department in Colombia south through western Ecuador to El Oro Province. Its range is fairly limited, and it is a monotypic species. Adults show a reddish brown crown and a pinkish rose face extending from the lores across most of the face, with a dull olive-yellow nape and breast. The rest of the body is mainly green, with orange and yellow at the wing bend, blue at the tail tips and a pale creamy whitish bill.
