Rosy-billed Pochard, Netta peposaca, is a duck in the family Anatidae that breeds in South America, from Brazil and Paraguay south to central Argentina and central Chile. It is found across Argentina, central Chile, Paraguay and southern Brazil, with birds from southern Argentina moving north in the austral winter. The species is also known as rosybill or rosybill pochard. A notable feature of the male is its bright red bill, which has a rounded knob at the base. Its name refers to the broad white wing stripe that shows when the wings are spread.
