Anthus roseatus
The Rosy Pipit (Anthus roseatus) is a small passerine bird found in parts of Asia. It is characterized by its pinkish-buff underparts, streaked brown upperparts, and a pale supercilium. This species is known for its distinctive high-pitched call and aerial displays during courtship. Rosy Pipits are often found in open grasslands, meadows, and agricultural areas, where they forage for insects and seeds on the ground. During the breeding season, they build cup-shaped nests on the ground and raise their young. While the global population size of the Rosy Pipit has not been quantified, it is believed to be large, and the species is currently classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
