Rough-crested Malkoha, Dasylophus superciliosus, is a cuckoo of the Luzon group in the Philippines, where it is confined to Luzon. It lives in tropical moist lowland forest, reaching up to 800 metres above sea level. Its most striking feature is the long crest and eyebrow-like line of loose red feathers, with black upperparts, wings and tail showing a bluish green gloss. The tail is graduated with white tips, and the underparts are black with a dull greenish wash. Two subspecies are recognised, one in southern Luzon and one in the north.
