Rough-legged Tyrannulet, Acrochordopus burmeisteri, is a passerine of the tyrant flycatcher family found in South America, with breeding populations in eastern Paraguay, northern Argentina and south-eastern Brazil. It was described by Cabanis and Heine in 1860. The species is known for its rough-looking legs, the feature that gives it its English name. It is a monotypic bird with no recognised subspecies. Its range is split between Andean forest on the eastern slopes and Atlantic Forest in the east, where it uses canopy, forest edges and mature secondary growth.
