Rubeho Akalat, Sheppardia aurantiithorax, is a passerine of the Muscicapidae family that lives in montane forests of eastern Tanzania, including the Rubeho and Ukagura Mountains. It was described by Beresford, Fjeldså and Kiure in 2004. Its range is very small and includes the Rubeho Mountains, the Wota Mountains, the Ukaguru Mountains and Mount Kiboriani. The scientific name refers to the ochre tones on the throat and upper breast, while the English name comes from the Rubeho Mountains, its type locality.
