Rufescent Darkeye, Tephrozosterops stalkeri, is a bird of the white-eyes family found on western and central Seram in the eastern Moluccas. It is the only species placed in Tephrozosterops. This bird is confined to Seram in Indonesia and occurs in moist lowland forest and moist montane forest in tropical and subtropical settings. It was described by Ogilvie-Grant in 1910.
