The Rufous-backed Robin (Myadestes coloratus) is a medium-sized thrush found in the mountains of western Mexico. It is known for its striking rufous back and grayish underparts, with a distinctive white eye ring. These birds are often found in pine-oak forests and cloud forests, where they forage for insects and berries. They are known for their melodic and flute-like song. The Rufous-backed Robin is not currently considered to be at risk, but habitat loss and degradation may pose future threats to its population.
