Rufous-bellied Hawk-Eagle

The Rufous-bellied Hawk-Eagle is a striking raptor found in the forests of Southeast Asia. This bird of prey is known for its distinctive rufous-colored belly and bold black and white plumage. It is a skilled hunter, preying on small mammals, birds, and reptiles. With a wingspan of around 120-150 cm, the Rufous-bellied Hawk-Eagle soars through the forest canopy with agility and grace. This species is known for its piercing call and impressive aerial displays during courtship. Unfortunately, habitat loss and fragmentation pose significant threats to its population, leading to conservation concerns.
