Rufous-breasted Antthrush, Formicarius rufipectus, is a passerine of the Formicariidae family found from Costa Rica through Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela to south-eastern Peru. It is a resident bird of humid to wet forest, including mature secondary growth, and is often associated with ravines, steep slopes, landslip regrowth and other places with thick undergrowth. The species is split into four subspecies across a disjunct range. Salvin described it in 1866.
