The Rufous-breasted Wood Quail is a medium-sized bird found in the cloud forests of South America. It is known for its striking rufous and black plumage, with a distinctive white throat and belly. They are often found in small family groups, and their distinctive call can be heard echoing through the dense undergrowth. Due to habitat loss and hunting, the Rufous-breasted Wood Quail is considered vulnerable to extinction.
