Rufous-browed Chat-Tyrant, Ochthoeca superciliosa, is a passerine of the Tyrannidae family found in western Venezuela. It lives in the Andes from northern Táchira through Mérida and much of Trujillo, and its range is confined to South America. It inhabits stunted montane forest, Polylepis woodland, shrubby páramo, and pastures with shrubby edges. The bird is marked by a bright rufous eyebrow that starts at the lores and extends beyond the eye, with brown upperparts and chestnut-rufous underparts. It was first described by Sclater and Salvin in 1871.
