Rufous-browed Peppershrike

The Rufous-browed Peppershrike (Zimmerius minimus) is a small passerine bird found in the tropical forests of South America. It is characterized by its olive-green upperparts, a rufous crown and eyebrow, and a pale gray throat. This species is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard in the dense foliage where it forages for insects and small fruits. The Rufous-browed Peppershrike is typically found in the canopy and mid-levels of humid forests, where it forms small mixed-species flocks. Its conservation status is currently classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
