Rufous-browed Tyrannulet, Phylloscartes superciliaris, is a passerine of humid montane evergreen forest in Middle America and northern South America, from Costa Rica to Venezuela and Ecuador. It is a year-round resident and lives in the canopy and along forest edges in the subtropical zone. The bird is marked by a bright chestnut forecrown and lores that continue as a narrow eyebrow, with a small white patch at the bill base. The sexes look alike, and the species has a dark iris, black bill, and grey legs and feet.
