Rufous-chested Tanager

The Rufous-chested Tanager (Dumetia hyperythra) is a small, colorful bird found in the Indian subcontinent. These tanagers are often found in open woodlands, scrublands, and forest edges, where they forage for insects and berries. They are known for their melodious calls and are often seen in small flocks. The Rufous-chested Tanager is not currently considered to be at risk and is widely distributed across its range.
