Rufous-chinned Laughingthrush, Ianthocincla rufogularis, is a passerine of the Leiothrichidae family that breeds from the Himalayas through Myanmar to north-west Vietnam. It was first named by Gould in 1835. Its key field mark is the rufous chin, set with a dark moustachial stripe and a pale buff patch beside the bill. The bird also shows a black cap, a brown tail with a dark band, greyish underparts and patterned upperparts. It occurs in moist lowland and montane forest across parts of South and South-East Asia.
