The Rufous-faced Warbler is a small, insectivorous bird found in the montane forests of Borneo. It has a distinctive rufous face with a contrasting black crown and olive-green upperparts. The underparts are pale yellow with a buffy wash on the flanks. This species is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard during the breeding season. It forages actively in the dense undergrowth, hopping and flitting between branches in search of insects and small invertebrates. The Rufous-faced Warbler is generally secretive and difficult to observe due to its elusive nature and preference for dense vegetation.
