Rufous-fronted Bushtit, Aegithalos iouschistos, is a bird of the c and e Himalayas in the Oriental Region, and it belongs to the family Aegithalidae. It was described by Blyth in 1845. The species is also known from mid-southern China and occurs only patchily in Myanmar. Its breeding range is in the Himalayas from Nepal to northern India and south-eastern Tibet. It is a small, long-tailed bird. The head is buff, with a broad black mask, a white forehead and a white bib marked with black in the centre. The breast and flanks are rufous.
