Rufous-fronted Prinia

Prinia lepida

The Rufous-fronted Prinia (Prinia lepida) is a small passerine bird found in parts of Asia. It is characterized by its rufous forehead and distinctive white throat and belly. This species is known for its melodious and repetitive song, often heard in open grasslands, scrublands, and agricultural areas. Rufous-fronted Prinias are typically observed foraging for insects and small invertebrates in low vegetation. They are known for their agile and acrobatic flight patterns. Although widespread, habitat loss and degradation pose threats to their populations in some areas.
