Rufous-fronted Tailorbird, Orthotomus frontalis, is a passerine of the Cisticolidae family found in the East Visayas and Mindanao group in the southern Philippines. It lives in tropical moist lowland forest, mangrove forest and second growth. The species is recognised from Mindanao and Basilan, with the Basilan form showing more chestnut that reaches the crown. It is also recorded in dense undergrowth, where it is often seen in pairs. Breeding is poorly known, though a nest was found in Basilan in March and 2 to 3 eggs were laid.
