Todiramphus winchelli (Sharpe, 1877)
Rufous-lored Kingfisher, Todiramphus winchelli, is a kingfisher of the Philippines, breeding in the Oriental Region across the islands outside the Luzon group, Mindoro and the Palawan group. It is a bird of tropical moist lowland forest, including coastal lowlands and foothills below 1,000 m. The species is marked by rufous lores and a rufous neck-collar, with a blackish-blue crown edged in cobalt-blue and a bright azure-blue rump. It was described by Sharpe in 1877. It is found on several islands, including Basilan, Samar, Leyte, Negros, Cebu, Bohol, Mindanao, Camiguin and the Sulu Archipelago.
