Herpsilochmus rufimarginatus (Temminck, 1822)

Rufous-margined Antwren, Herpsilochmus rufimarginatus, is a passerine of the antbird family found in eastern and south-eastern Brazil, eastern Paraguay and north-eastern Argentina. It is also recorded in Pernambuco, north of the Rio São Francisco, and is thought to remain in the same area throughout the year. It lives mainly in the interior of humid Atlantic Forest, with records also from forest margins and restinga woodland on white sand. It is usually seen in the middle layers of the forest and the subcanopy, especially where vines are thick.
