Rufous Prinia

Prinia rufescens

This species is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard in dense vegetation and grasslands. Rufous Prinias are typically insectivorous, foraging for insects and small invertebrates in low shrubs and grasses. They are known for their agile and acrobatic foraging behavior, often seen flitting among dense vegetation. This species is not currently considered threatened, but habitat loss and degradation may pose future conservation challenges.
