Rufous-sided Scrub Tyrant, Euscarthmus rufomarginatus, is a passerine of the Tyrannidae family that breeds in South America, including Suriname, eastern Brazil, north-eastern Bolivia and eastern Paraguay. It is a resident bird of campos rupestres, cerrado and shrubby savanna, and it also occurs in a few scattered localities beyond its main range. The species is monotypic. It is a small tyrant flycatcher with the sexes alike, and adults show a brown crown with a concealed cinnamon-rufous patch, a pale face pattern, darker wings with two bars, and mostly pale yellow underparts.
