Rufous-tailed Antthrush Chamaeza ruficauda is a passerine of the antthrush family that breeds in south Brazil and north-east Argentina. It is a bird of humid montane forest and mature secondary woodland, especially where the undergrowth is thick. The species is also known as the Brazilian Antthrush. It is found in southeastern Brazil and in Misiones Province in Argentina, and its range extends from eastern Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo to northern Rio Grande do Sul. It is a monotypic species, and the sexes are alike.
