Rufous-tailed Rock Thrush

The Rufous-tailed Rock Thrush is a small to medium-sized bird found in rocky and hilly areas across Europe, Asia, and North Africa. This species is known for its striking plumage, with the male displaying vibrant blue and chestnut colors, while the female has a more subdued brown and buff plumage. Rufous-tailed Rock Thrushes are often seen perched on rocks or cliffs, where they hunt for insects and small invertebrates. During the breeding season, they build cup-shaped nests in rock crevices or cavities. This species is known for its melodious song, which is often heard echoing through its rocky habitat.
