Rufous-tailed Xenops, Microxenops milleri, is a passerine of the Furnariidae that breeds in Amazonia in South America. It is the sole species in its genus and was described by Chapman in 1914. It lives in tropical lowland and evergreen forest, especially terra firme, though it also uses várzea. Its range runs through parts of Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Amazonian Brazil, and it may occur in French Guiana. It is a year-round resident and forages alone or in mixed flocks, mainly in the sub-canopy and canopy.
