Rufous-throated Fulvetta

The Rufous-throated Fulvetta, scientifically known as Trochalopteron subunicolor, is a small passerine bird found in the eastern Himalayas and Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its rufous throat and breast, olive upperparts, and a distinctive white eye-ring. These birds are often found in dense undergrowth and bamboo thickets, where they forage for insects and small fruits. They are known for their melodious calls and are often observed in mixed-species foraging flocks. The Rufous-throated Fulvetta is generally considered to be of least concern in terms of conservation status, as it has a wide distribution and is not currently facing major threats.
