The Rufous-throated Yuhina is a small passerine bird found in the eastern Himalayas and parts of Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its rufous throat, grey head, and olive-yellow underparts. This species is often found in mixed-species foraging flocks, where it actively searches for insects and small fruits in the forest canopy. It builds cup-shaped nests in trees and shrubs, and typically lays 2-4 eggs. The Rufous-throated Yuhina is known for its melodious, high-pitched calls that are often heard in its mountainous habitat.
