Rufous-webbed Bush Tyrant, Cnemarchus rufipennis, is a passerine of the Andes in South America, breeding from Peru to north-west Argentina. It belongs to the tyrant flycatcher family and was first described in 1874. The bird is tied to high Andean country, where it uses semi-arid grassland with cacti, scrub, low woodland near the treeline, and Polylepis stands. It also occurs among boulders and cliffs, and may turn up on farms or in gardens when trees are present. Its breeding range also extends into Bolivia and far northern Chile.
