Rufous-winged Cisticola, Cisticola galactotes, is a bird of southern Africa, found in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa. It belongs to the family Cisticolidae and is recorded along the east coast of the region. Two subspecies are recognised: C. g. isodactylus occurs in southern Malawi, south-eastern Zimbabwe and western Mozambique, while C. g. galactotes is found in southern Mozambique and eastern South Africa. Its natural habitats are seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland and swamps.
