Fulvetta ludlowi
The Rusty-capped Fulvetta is a small, active bird found in the eastern Himalayas. It has a distinctive rusty-brown cap and a greyish-brown body with a white belly. This species is known for its melodious calls and often forages in mixed-species flocks in dense undergrowth. It primarily feeds on insects and small invertebrates. The Rusty-capped Fulvetta is known for its social behavior and can be found in pairs or small groups. It inhabits montane and subalpine forests, often at elevations between 2,000 and 3,500 meters. This species is not currently considered to be at risk and is relatively common within its range.
