Rusty-flanked Thrush, Turdus albicollis, is a thrush of South America, breeding from southern Bolivia and eastern Brazil to northern Argentina. It belongs to the family Turdidae and was first described by Vieillot in 1818. It is a forest bird of interiors, edges and clearings, and is also found in mature secondary growth, várzea and terra firme. It is usually tied to cover, though it may appear on tracks and roadsides. The species has a disjunct range, and the breeding population is divided into several subspecies across the continent.
