Sahul Sunbird, Cinnyris frenatus, is a resident bird of Sulawesi, the northern Moluccas, New Guinea, the Aru Islands, the Bismarck Archipelago, the northern and central southern Solomon Islands, and far north-east Queensland. It is a sunbird in the family Nectariniidae. It was once treated as part of the olive-backed sunbird, now the garden sunbird, but is now recognised as a separate species. Its range also includes satellites off New Guinea and nearby islands.
