Sakhalin Leaf Warbler Phylloscopus borealoides is a leaf warbler in the family Phylloscopidae, breeding in Sakhalin, the southern Kuril Islands, Hokkaido and Honshu. Its nonbreeding range is poorly known and includes south-east Asia, Singapore and the Ryukyu Islands. It was described by Portenko in 1950. It is often confused with the pale-legged leaf warbler, but can be separated by its lower-pitched vocalisations, although their pitch ranges overlap. It also has a long white supercilium, dark brown eye-stripes and a dark brown crown, upperparts and bill.
