Samar Crow, Corvus samarensis, is a passerine of the Corvidae found in Samar and Mindanao in the southern Philippines. It is tied to primary tropical moist lowland forest and is very scarce. The bird has a short tail and bare skin on the face, and its flight is said to have a whirring quality. It can be told from the Sierra Madre crow by its slimmer bill, deeper black plumage and darker grey at the base of the neck. Its voice is a high-pitched squeal.
