Sao Tome Prinia, Prinia molleri, is a passerine of the Cisticolidae family that breeds on São Tomé in the Gulf of Guinea. It is associated with moist montane forest and moist shrubland, and is mainly recorded in open country and along forest margins. Named by Barboza du Bocage in 1887, it is also known for short aerial displays. Its feeding is chiefly on insects, though it sometimes takes plant material, including Erythrina flowers, and it is thought to search for food in decaying tree trunks.
