These owls are primarily nocturnal and are skilled hunters, preying on small mammals, birds, and insects. They have excellent camouflage, blending into the moss-covered trees and dense foliage of their habitat. Sartor's Owls are solitary and territorial birds, communicating through hoots and calls.
