Satanic Nightjar, Eurostopodus diabolicus, is a nightjar of montane northern and central Sulawesi in Australasia. It belongs to the family Caprimulgidae and was described by Stresemann in 1931. Endemic to Sulawesi, it is a mid-sized bird with a dark brown, spotted plumage. It is also known by several other names, including Heinrich’s nightjar and Sulawesi eared-nightjar. The species was first collected on Mount Klabat in northern Sulawesi, and later records confirmed its presence again in Lore Lindu National Park.
