Scale-feathered Malkoha, Dasylophus cumingi, is a cuckoo of the Luzon group in the Philippines, with its breeding range in the Oriental Region. It is found only on Luzon, Catanduanes and Marinduque. The bird is marked by a pale hood and a bill with scaled feathering running from the face over the crown, set against darker upperparts and tail. It inhabits tropical moist lowland and montane forest, reaching 2,000 metres, and is most often recorded in the lower and middle levels. It is usually seen alone or in small groups, and may also join mixed-species flocks.
