Scaly-breasted Illadopsis, Illadopsis albipectus, is a bird of the family Pellorneidae found in Africa, from south-eastern Central African Republic, western and northern DR Congo and southern Sudan to western Kenya and north-western Angola. It is associated with moist lowland forest in the Congo Basin, with further isolated populations in northern Angola, Uganda and South Sudan. It lives in the understory and lower storeys of the forest. It is sedentary. The species was described by Reichenow in 1888.
