Scaly Ground Roller, Geobiastes squamiger, is a bird of eastern Madagascar in the family Brachypteraciidae. It lives in moist lowland forest and is one of the few birds on the island that uses lowland rainforest, usually below 1,000 metres. Its plumage is marked by a black-and-white scaly pattern on the head, copper-brown upperparts, green wings with white tips, and a reddish-brown tail with blue tips and black markings. The underparts are pale with black crescents, and it has a thick, long grey bill and pink legs.
