Scarlet-faced Liocichla, Liocichla ripponi, is a passerine of the Leiothrichidae family that breeds across the Oriental Region from eastern Myanmar to northern Vietnam. It was described by Oates in 1900. The bird was once treated as part of the red-faced liocichla, but it is now recognised as a separate species by recent classification. Its recorded range also includes Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and southern China.
